The Annual General Meeting in August is our major report to members providing a round up of the year's activities and setting out plans for the year ahead.
The key items on the agenda are:
- The President's Report
- The Treasurer's Report
- Election of the Committee
All financial members are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting as this is the best opportunity to influence plans for the coming year and to have your say in regard to the management and direction of the PWI.
At the AGM additional corporate sponsorship of quarterly meetings for the coming year are sought. Sponsorship of the AGM is also available and provides an opportunity to update members on the latest achievements, projects ahead, technology advances etc via a technical presentation.
The Annual General Meeting is combined with our third Quarterly meeting and is followed by the sponsors technical presentation. As with all our quarterly meetings refreshments are provided following the meeting giving the opportunity to catch up and network with colleagues.
The joint meeting with members from the Railway Technical Society of Australia (RTSA) and Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) will not occur with the 2010 Annual General Meeting, the joint meeting is now scheduled with the 2nd quarterly on 27 May 2010.
