Getting There:
KBR is located within the QV complex. Access to the lobby can be found directly off Lonsdale Street, or via the underground parking lot and lifts.
If you arrive within the QV retail complex, find your way to Officeworks where you will find stairs that will lead up to the QV office building.
Once you arrive in the lobby, please located a KBR representative who will assist with Level 18 access.

Byford Rail Extension Track Design
Christian Silisilon and Stella Han (Track and Civil Engineers at KBR) will be presenting track stiffness, track slabs and turnouts on viaducts on Byford Rail Extension
Byford Rail Extension is a project being delivered by Metronet in WA which extends the existing electrified Armadale line by approximately 9km south to Byford. The project removes seven level crossings which included 3 being removed with an elevated viaduct approximately 1.7km long. The viaduct contains 6 turnouts and track slab system. The KBR presentation will cover the design challenges with regards to the following :
- Track slab system adopted
- Designing turnouts on a viaduct
- Track stiffness modelling
