AGM
The PWI welcomes back David Foldi who will be the returning officer who will to act as an independent authority responsible for managing, overseeing, and validating the election of board or committee members. To maintain absolute neutrality, this individual cannot stand for office, nominate candidates, or cast a vote in the election themselves.
A message from our president.
Seeking nominations for the 2026/2027 Committee
The PWI welcomes nominations for all Committee roles and encourages new members to become involved. If you know someone who would be interested in contributing, please speak with one of the current Executive Committee members or Subcommittee Chairs.
Being a member of the PWI Committee carries an expectation of ongoing participation and support. Committee members should be prepared to actively contribute throughout the year by:
- Attending Committee meetings where applicable.
- Supporting PWI technical presentations, networking functions, and major events.
- Participating in a subcommittee or working group.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of PWI initiatives and activities.
- Acting as an ambassador for the PWI by promoting membership, encouraging participation, and supporting the development of the rail industry.
Before nominating, please consider your availability and capacity to make an active contribution during the 2026/2027 year.
To assist with planning ahead of the AGM, we would appreciate receiving all nomination forms by Friday, 7 August 2026. As a reminder, only the Executive Committee positions and the Public Officer are formally elected at the AGM.

Membership
To attend PWI NSW functions you must be a current financial member or corporate representative or guest. Please refer to the membership page for all memberships including corporate membership.
If you are not currently a member of PWI NSW you can join via our Membership page. Upon joining you will receive a Login ID and password to register for events.
